iServ - To do the right thing is the right thing forever

Some people don't ever learn

Why is it that some people just don't get the message? Not content with being banned from iServ and thus no longer being able to vent her spleen in reply to being banned from Induced IRC, Coco has decided to get some lessons from her dopey boyfriend in using insecure proxy servers to try and evade the bans that are protecting the IRC network against her presence.

The problem for her is that the IRC network's automated abuse systems have snuffed out her attempts to hide her IP address in an attempt to evade the ban affecting her.

That's Coco trying to connect and my message in reply is this: Resistance is futile. Tongue

Also:-

1. Using insecure proxies to connect to an IRC network is a criminal offence because it involves connecting to someone else's computer without their consent.
2. Using insecure proxies to connect to an IRC network is universally considered lame by the wider Internet community.

Oh dear.

Sometimes stupidity has no limits.

Coco, Freeheart, whatever your name is, no one cares that you want to vent and act like a moron. The only person that cares is you and that peerless daft Levi Duncan, who was born in a moron factory, where they threw him out as a reject (he didn't make the cut - too stupid).

Get over the fact that your actions have created the situation that you now find yourself under where nobody likes you, and you are banned from every IRC server that you have set foot on. Take responsibility for your actions, because only you can change who you are. Think to yourself, can that many people really be wrong about you?

Look at the guy you have as a partner. Do you forget so easily that you begged people on the Induced server to help remove him from your life because he was stalking you, wouldn't leave you alone, broke your property, scared your boy half to death, and abused you physically and mentally?

Rather than adopt his personality and be shunned and outcast as he is, why not make yourself a better person. People are willing to forgive but only when you've given them a reason to do so. Right now, all you are doing is confirming that the bans people placed on you were correct.

Grow up, you are 40-something aren't you? It's a little too old to be involving yourself in childish games, even if your partner wants you to do so.

Well said Dan.

Another interesting fact, before I set off on my tour of the Central Tablelands yesterday, pertains to a line of enquiry relating to the whereabouts of Coco on the last server she was known to have connected to. Those who replied to my question told me that she has left IRC for good. If that is the case then she has a funny way of showing it.

I'll also echo Dan's comment that stated people are willing to forgive past misdemeanours however this is on the condition that an incentive is provided and there is demonstrated alterations to the behaviour of those who have been cast aside.

Thus the ball is now in Coco's court.

I cannot believe 'some people' (and I use that collective term loosely which is no reflection on the majority of decent human beings in the world) still resort to ban evasion - be it on a forum such as this, or an IRC network, yet it happens.

There is one IRC network I know of which still 'condones' this type of behaviour, and their OPs believe differently, but do little about it. Frown

Whoever Coco is I will say this: she only has herself to blame for her actions. Take responsibility, step up and own it. Quit crying.

It might be a good idea for her to consider a decent pastime or hobby, such as pottery, rather than 'drugging' and partying all the time. It's also a good idea for her to consider getting a 'real' job too instead of selling her partner's dope stash, and prostitution is NOT the answer. Grin

Perhaps this could be archived under 'Internet Pests'? She sounds like a waste of space and an insult to all 40+ year old people.
Sadly, she isn't the only goon on the planet.

Cheers.

I can guarantee one thing, as hard as it will be for her, she'll find it much easier getting onto IRC than back onto this website as a member. iServ has some incredibly strong defence mechanisms which would take the knowledge of a seriously dedicated security guru with knowledge of web services to get past and in a nutshell this means that Coco has two chances of commenting here again - Buckleys and Sweet Foxtrot Alpha. Smile

I'll stake my reputation on it.
